Participants of the Global politics workshop presented the module “How to structure and teach IR”  to discuss the concept of “life-long learning” and its understanding by analyzing the main achievements and key issues in this area in the EU and Ukraine. There was also a discussion about the actual problems of implementing the Bologna process and increasing its effectiveness, depending on the peculiarities of the educational system of each of the countries, based on the lecture by Dominique Sollleitner, a researcher at the Institute for East European Studies at the Free University of Berlin. Within the framework of the module, representatives of universities in Germany and Ukraine expressed their views on the issues of compliance with higher education standards and the market for employment in the digital age, and also reflect on the role universities will play in the future in the context of studies of international relations.
